Q:     How do I make a Staff ID inactive?
A: Go to People then Staff, click on the staff person's name in blue. Click the drop down box to change the Type to 'Inactive'. In the 'ClassID' field, add the person's initials (without any spaces) so that the original ClassID can be used by their replacement. Finally, click Save Changes.
Notes: (1) If you are trying to inactivate a Homeroom account, you will need to reassign the homeroom students to a new homeroom teacher account before you can inactivate the original homeroom account.
(2) If you are trying to inactivate an Admin account, you will need to contact HelpDesk. We need a total of 2 admin at a school to contact us either by FDmail or by phone requesting that another admin be inactive.
