Dear School Families:

Tomorrow is the final day to help our Mini Vinnies bring in stuffed animals for the Foster Adopt Support Team (FAST). Please bring any new stuffed animals or Squishmallows to the bins in the school lobby and the gathering space in Church. Thank you for providing the children with a wonderful Valentine’s Day.

This Sunday, February 8, the 4th Grade Family Class Mass will be held at 9:30 AM. All 4th Grade Families in the Parish are invited to celebrate together in the Parish Center. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

There are two wonderful upcoming opportunities in our Parish. Discovering Christ – a seven session series meeting Thursday evenings during February and March where individuals gather to explore some of the most important questions regarding God and finding the ultimate life purpose. During the weekend of February 20 – 22 there will be a Men’s Lenten Encounter Retreat. Please see details in the flyers in this week’s packet.

We will be judging the Academic Fair projects next Wednesday evening. All projects will be available for viewing on Thursday, February 12, from 7:25 AM – 7:30 PM and Friday, February 13, from 7:25 AM – 2:00 PM. I am always impressed at the projects the children create – their creativity and ingenuity is wonderful. If your schedule allows, please stop by school sometime during those days to view the projects. We are looking forward to the projects again this year! Thank you!

Tomorrow you will be receiving the registration packet for the 2026 – 2027 school year. You will also be receiving a message through Fast Direct with a link to an on-line registration form. We will again be using on-line registration for all in-house families for Kindergarten through 8th Grade. While there are still a couple of forms you will be returning to the school office, the majority of the registration process will be completed on-line. Please complete the on-line form and return the signed Parent Witness statement and completed Scrip Program Agreement to the school office by Monday, March 2. It is important to complete registration by this time. Please note the updated Tuition Policy – changes have been bolded and italicized.

We are so excited to announce that next year we will be opening another Preschool Classroom!!! We will now have a 3-year-old room and a 4-year-old room. Please share this news with friends and family. St. Cletus Preschool registration forms will be sent home with preschool aged children and additional forms can be obtained in the School Office.

Open Registration begins next Friday, February 13. All families who have completed the registration process by March 2 will have their names put in a drawing for either one free registration fee or $200.00 worth of STP certificates. If you have questions regarding tuition assistance, please go to www.ttef-stl.org to complete the Archdiocesan Scholarship application and contact Maggi Rimel or Mary Cooper at the Parish Center. Thank you!

In the packet you will also find registration papers for the Before and After Care Program for the 2026 – 2027 school year.

I would like to thank the families who have completed applications for the available Archdiocesan scholarships and encourage families who may still be interested to do so in the near future. Information for families can be found at the following link - ttef-stl.org/info-for-parents . Please note scholarships are filled on a first come first serve basis so it is important to apply early – the application process ends on February 28. This is a wonderful opportunity for all families interested in Catholic Education to have the opportunity to apply for a variety of scholarships. On the same site, you can find information regarding the MOScholars Program – another wonderful opportunity. Please check into both programs! Families currently receiving scholarships from the Today and Tomorrow Foundation must complete the requalification application. I ask everyone to review the criteria necessary in order to apply and take advantage of the opportunities if possible.

Our first Open House is scheduled for this Sunday, February 8, from 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Please share the information regarding our Open Houses with families who may be interested in learning about St. Cletus. The remaining Open Houses will be held on next Thursday, February 12, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM, and Sunday, February 22, from 10:30 – 1:00 PM. Word of mouth is our best advertisement! Individual tours are also available upon request.

There is still time to plan a table for our Trivia Night which was rescheduled to next Saturday, February 14, doors opening at 6:00 PM. Tables are available if you would like to join in on all the fun! This is a wonderful evening to spend with friends, having fun, and sharing in the St. Cletus Spirit! We would appreciate your help in supporting this fun-filled evening!

We would like to thank the PTO and especially Dana Ley and Jess Lister for planning a wonderful evening for our Dads and their Daughters this Saturday, February 7. We hope their Red-Carpet Night is filled with glitz and glamour while they dance the night away!

Fish Fry season is soon upon us! In the packet this week you will find information about signing up for shifts to help with the Fish Fry. Please note that we ask all families to volunteer for at least three shifts during the Fish Fry season. There is also information regarding our hours, menu items, weekly themes, and sponsorships. These are wonderful evenings and a fantastic way to build community spirit! We are looking forward to Fish Fry season.

Come join St. Cletus on March 1 at the Family Arena for an afternoon with the Ambush! The game begins at 2:05 PM. You have until February 16, at 2:00 PM, to purchase tickets. There is a QR Code on the flyer in the packet this week to purchase tickets.

Please share the news of Our Help Pave the Path to Play Program! We have 92 bricks which is a wonderful start for our program. I would like to thank those individuals who have purchased a brick already! Please know that bricks can be purchased by individuals going together, by classes, in memory of or as a challenge between different groups, etc. Individuals can also donate without purchasing a brick. We appreciate everyone’s commitment to helping us provide a new playground for the children.

This week’s STP Tip of the Week: Use your Raise Right app to shop for daily Valentine Bonuses! There are over a hundred vendors from January 31 – February 14.
