Dear School Families:

We look forward to seeing you this evening for the Annual Christmas Program. We are so excited to be coming together to celebrate the coming Christmas season. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs. Chruma for preparing this wonderful event for us to enjoy. The children have been doing a marvelous job of preparing their songs and the hallways have been full of the sounds of Christmas. The concert begins at 6:30 PM. We ask that children be in their homerooms by 6:00 PM this evening. Again, I would like to thank the children, faculty, staff, and parents who assisted in the Christmas Program, and especially Mrs. Chruma for providing us with the opportunity to end the semester with a wonderful evening of song!

Please join us tomorrow as we celebrate together at the 8:15 AM Mass for the final time during this calendar school year. What better way is there to end the Advent Season at St. Cletus? It is hard to believe we have completed the first semester; we have had so much to be grateful for throughout the past months. I would like to thank everyone for their continued support and dedication to the children, faculty, and staff throughout the year. We have truly been blessed and are very appreciative of your generosity.

After Mass we will be going to the gym to sing Christmas Carols with our School Families. If your schedule allows, please feel free to join our caroling!

We are looking forward to the Kindergarten Play tomorrow at 10:00”ish”. It is wonderful to see these little ones bring the joy of Christmas to those around them. Our thanks to Mrs. Boschert and the children for their presentation – we are looking forward to seeing it and sharing in it with their families!

I would like to thank all of our Room Parents and all those donating to the children’s Christmas parties – the children are looking forward to celebrating together!

Please remember to stop by the Lost and Found in the center hallway while you are at school for the concert and Christmas parties. It always amazes me to see how many items are left at school unclaimed. Items remaining after Friday will be taken to St. Vincent de Paul. Thank you!

January 1, 2026, begins the Bicentennial Jubilee celebration of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. We look forward to a year of celebration!

On Wednesday, January 7, we will celebrate together at the January Birthday Blessing at 7:50 AM. Please join us in honoring our birthday celebrants if your schedule allows. All of our Birthday celebrants are able to have a Dress Down Day on Wednesday in honor of their special day! Thank you!

We are very proud of the children for the effort they put into their work throughout the second quarter. Report cards will be available for viewing on Fast Direct, Friday, January 9, after 12:00 PM. Hard copies will be sent home to those families not activated in the system. Thank you!

Information was sent home today to the Kindergarten through 4th Grade regarding the 3rd quarter Lego Club.

In the packet this week you will find information for St. Cletus Trivia Night being held on Saturday, January 24, with doors opening at 6:00 PM. This is a wonderful evening to spend with friends, having fun, and sharing in the St. Cletus Spirit! We would appreciate your help in supporting this fun-filled evening!

Please share the news of Our Help Pave the Path to Play Program! We have 81 bricks which is a wonderful start for our program. I would like to thank those individuals who have purchased a brick already! Please know that bricks can be purchased by individuals going together, by classes, in memory of or as a challenge between different groups, etc. Individuals can also donate without purchasing a brick. We appreciate everyone’s commitment to helping us provide a new playground for the children.

We look forward to seeing you at the PTO Meeting on Thursday, January 8. This is a wonderful way to meet fellow families and become involved in activities at school. The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM but join us at 6:00 PM for a social. Babysitting will be provided! We look forward to seeing you there!
