Dear School Families:

Come and enjoy an afternoon of fun this Sunday, November 9, at the annual Quilt Social! This event is sponsored by the St. Vincent de Paul Society to help those in need.

Throughout next week, we will be collecting canned goods and nonperishable items for the Thanksgiving Food Drive. All items collected will be given to the St. Vincent de Paul Society so others will have the opportunity to enjoy the holiday season. Each day we will announce a “Mystery Food” over the morning announcements. Any child bringing in the mystery food that day will be called to the office for a surprise. Thank you for your support!

Join us next Thursday, November 13, as we gather to celebrate the November Birthday celebrants. We will begin at 7:50 AM in the gym. Please join us if your schedule permits. All of our Birthday celebrants are able to have a Dress Down Day on Thursday in honor of their special day! Thank you!

Please mark your calendar for Thursday, November 20 for the Advent Family Activity Night. This is a wonderful evening when families come together to create activities especially for the preparation for Advent. The evening begins with a prayer and then the creativity begins. The evening is hosted in the School Cafeteria at 6:30 PM. Additional details will be coming soon!

I would like to thank all of you who donated Halloween candy to the Military Moms of Missouri for the individuals in service. You have one day left if you would like to donate your extra Halloween candy. Please feel free to bring it to school office by tomorrow. Mr. DiCarlo will be sending it to the service men and women to enjoy. Our thanks to Mr. DiCarlo for arranging the donation and delivery. Thank you for sharing with others.

Please share the news of Our Help Pave the Path to Play Program! We have 52 bricks which is a wonderful start for our program. I would like to thank those individuals who have purchased a brick already! Please know that bricks can be purchased by individuals going together, by classes, in memory of or as a challenge between different groups, etc. Individuals can also donate without purchasing a brick. We appreciate everyone’s commitment to helping us provide a new playground for the children.

This week’s STP Tip of the Week: American Express (up to 1.5%) and Mastercard (2.5%) Gift Cards have been added to the Raise Right family. These can be wonderful gifts with the holidays approaching!

We look forward to seeing you this evening at the PTO Meeting. The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM, but join us at 6:00 PM for a social. Babysitting will be provided! We look forward to seeing you there!
