Dear School Families:

Tomorrow, February 20, the 8th graders will be leading the Scriptural Stations of the Cross in the church at 2:10 PM. Next Wednesday, February 25, at 1:20 PM, the 6th Grade will be leading us in the Traditional Stations of the Cross in the gym. Please join us as we pray the Stations together. Thank you!

Please keep those involved in the Men’s Lenten Encounter Retreat this weekend in your prayers.

In the packet this week you will find information regarding our upcoming Talent Show. Please encourage your child/children to share their talents with our school community. This is a wonderful event for students – I am always in awe at the talent of our students! Mark your calendars for the try-outs on March 10th and 11th and the Talent Show on the morning of March 18.

I would like to thank all of those you have completed their registration for the 2026- 2027 school year. There is only one week left to complete the registration process if you have not done so to this date. Please remember that registration is complete once you have completed the on-line form and return the signed Parent Witness statement and completed Scrip Program Agreement to the school office by Monday, March 2. If you owe a portion of the Commitment Fee, this must be paid by March 1 or it will be added to your April and May FACTS payment. St. Cletus Preschool registration forms are available in the School Office. All families who have completed the registration process by March 2 will have their names put in a drawing for either one free registration fee or $200.00 worth of STP certificates. If you have questions regarding tuition assistance, please go to www.ttef-stl.org to complete the Archdiocesan Scholarship application and contact Maggi Rimel or Mary Cooper at the Parish Center. Thank you!

February 28, is the last day to complete an application for any of the available Archdiocesan scholarships. Information can be found at the following link - ttef-stl.org/info-for-parents. If you need information regarding the process, please contact the school office. I ask everyone to review the criteria necessary to apply and take advantage of the opportunities if possible. Families currently receiving scholarships from the Today and Tomorrow Foundation must complete the requalification application by February 28 also.

We have one final Open House remaining – this Sunday, February 22, from 10:30 – 1:00 PM. Thank you for spreading the word about our Open Houses. Word of mouth is our best advertisement! Individual tours are also available upon request.

Tomorrow we will have the first Fish Fry of the Lenten season. In the envelope this week you will find information from the PTO with details regarding the upcoming Fish Fry season. Please check out the information and join us throughout the upcoming weeks of Lent. It takes many hands to make the Fish Fry such a huge success. We ask that each family works a minimum of three Fish Fry shifts – you’ll find that the evening is filled with fun and comradery. You can sign up for shifts on Sign-Up Genius, there is a QR code to the link on the flyer in this week’s packet. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with members of our St. Cletus Community.

Please remember that it is wonderful to have homemade desserts to end a perfect meal during the Fish Fry. A large number of desserts are consumed weekly; if you are able to bring a dessert it is appreciated! Desserts may be delivered to the cafeteria anytime on Friday. Thank you for your help!

Please share the news of Our Help Pave the Path to Play Program! We have 93 bricks which is a wonderful start for our program. I would like to thank those individuals who have purchased a brick already! Please know that bricks can be purchased by individuals going together, by classes, in memory of or as a challenge between different groups, etc. Individuals can also donate without purchasing a brick. We appreciate everyone’s commitment to helping us provide a new playground for the children.
