Dear School Families:

Tomorrow is the final day to donate to the annual Pro-Life Baby Bottle Challenge. All funds raised are given to organizations supporting expectant mothers and babies – organizations such as Birthright and Our Lady’s Inn, etc. The money will be tallied, and a dress-down day will be awarded to either all the boys or girls in the school. Thank you for supporting such wonderful organizations.

It has been a wonderful and very busy Catholic Schools Week and shorter due to the weather at the beginning of the week. Again, I would like to thank all the School Families and Parish Community for the constant support, commitment, and dedication – we greatly appreciate the generosity provided. I would like to thank the PTO, the Catholic Schools Week Committee, and everyone who was involved with all the wonderful activities and surprises planned throughout the week.

Our Mini Vinnies are helping the Foster Adopt Support Team (FAST) by collecting new stuffed animals or Squishmallows for the children for Valentine’s Day. Information can be found in the packet this week. You can find collection bins in the school lobby and the gathering space in Church. Collections will run through Friday, February 6. Thank you for providing the children a wonderful Valentine’s Day.

Next Sunday, February 8, the 4th Grade Family Class Mass will be held at 9:30 AM. All 4th Grade Families in the Parish are invited to celebrate together in the Parish Center. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

The Beyond Sunday on-line scholarship application is currently open. Information for families can be found at the following link - ttef-stl.org/info-for-parents . Please note scholarships are filled on a first come first serve basis so it is important to apply early – the application process ends on February 28. This is a wonderful opportunity for all families interested in Catholic Education to have the opportunity to apply for a variety of scholarships. On the same site, you can find information regarding the MOScholars Program – another wonderful opportunity. The application process for MOScholars is currently open. Please check into both programs! Families currently receiving scholarships from the Today and Tomorrow Foundation must complete the requalification application. I ask everyone to review the criteria necessary in order to apply and take advantage of the opportunities if possible.

At the end of next week we will begin in-house registration for the 2026 - 2027 School Year. Open registration will begin on Friday, February 13.

We had to reschedule our Open house this past Sunday due to the weather. We have rescheduled the Open House to Sunday, February 8, from 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Please share the information regarding our Open Houses with families who may be interested in learning about St. Cletus. The remaining Open Houses will be held on Thursday, February 12, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM, and Sunday, February 22, from 10:30 – 1:00 PM. Word of mouth is our best advertisement! Individual tours are also available upon request.

St. Cletus yard signs are still available if you would like to place one in your yard from now through February 19. Yard signs are available in the school office. In order to be able to use the signs from year to year, we ask that you return them on February 20 for us to store. When you return the sign, your name will be placed in a drawing for a $50.00 STP certificate. Thank you very much for assisting us with this project!

In the packet this week you will find a School Board Self-Nomination Form. If you are interested in becoming a member of the St. Cletus School Board, please complete the information and return it to either Heather Behrmann or Megan Dunkmann or to the school office by Thursday, March 26. Elections will be held on April 25 and 26 after all Masses. Please consider running for a position on the St. Cletus School Board. Thank you!

January 31, is the final day to register for families interested in Golf. February 1is the final day to register for families interested in Baseball, Softball, and T-Ball for the coming season! In the packet this week you will find information regarding the sign-ups.

The weather this past weekend certainly affected all our plans. Trivia Night was also cancelled and has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 14, doors opening at 6:00 PM. Tables are available if you would like to join in on all the fun! This is a wonderful evening to spend with friends, having fun, and sharing in the St. Cletus Spirit! We would appreciate your help in supporting this fun-filled evening!

In the packet this week you will find information regarding the Father Daughter Evening on the Red Carpet being held next Saturday, February 7, from 6:30 – 9:00 PM. This is a wonderful evening for our Dads and Daughters to Dance the night away!

Fish Fry season is soon upon us! In the packet this week you will find information about signing up for shifts to help with the Fish Fry. Please note that we ask all families to volunteer for at least three shifts during the Fish Fry season. There is also information regarding our hours, menu items, weekly themes, and sponsorships. These are wonderful evenings and a fantastic way to build community spirit! We are looking forward to Fish Fry season.

Come join St. Cletus on March 1 at the Family Arena for an afternoon with the Ambush! The game begins at 2:05 PM. You have until February 16, at 2:00 PM, to purchase tickets. There is a QR Code on the flyer in the packet this week to purchase tickets.

Please share the news of Our Help Pave the Path to Play Program! We have 92 bricks which is a wonderful start for our program. I would like to thank those individuals who have purchased a brick already! Please know that bricks can be purchased by individuals going together, by classes, in memory of or as a challenge between different groups, etc. Individuals can also donate without purchasing a brick. We appreciate everyone’s commitment to helping us provide a new playground for the children.

This week’s STP Tip of the Week: This week begins a new year for the Commitment Fee. All proceeds from STP purchases will go to your 2026-2027 Commitment Fee. Thank you!

Please remember that this Friday, January 30, there will be a Noon Dismissal and Friday, February 6 will be a full day of classes. We are having the February Faculty Meeting on Friday, January 30 and NOT on Friday, February 6. This was listed on the calendar at the beginning of the year, but I wanted to remind everyone of the change. There will be no noon dismissals in the month of February. Thank you.
