Dear parents,
In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. we will be out of school on Monday, January 15, which is MLK’s actual birthday. We will be focusing on forgiveness next week through our Devotion/Religion time and Reading (“Cinderella”) and throughout the week. Please remind your child that his/her behavior needs to be “self-monitored.” Students are having issues in ALL classes with the various instructors with speaking out without permission, tattling on others rather than taking responsibility for personal behavior, and interrupting the instructor. Please encourage your child to be an example of “servanthood,” putting others first and allowing their leaders to better serve!

In Jesus, Mrs. Begley

-Classroom Supply Wish List-

Please consider purchasing a small “Fiskers” pencil sharpener for your child to keep in his/her pencil box. We are also in need of “good” school pencils: Dixon Ticonderoga brand are best. Please NO plastic-coated pencils, as they are very hard on pencil sharpeners.

Also: If anyone would be willing to donate some Wide-ruled notebook paper, we would like to have a few packages to share in the classroom.

-NOTE FROM MRS. BEGLEY-

Dear parents,
We have been enjoying our new Bibles that we received this past Sunday! Thank you, St. Paul! We are so grateful to have them! We enjoyed the Reformation Party on Tuesday! Thank you, teachers and chapel family leaders, for planning and sharing the games and activities. We are getting geared up to honor the servicemen and women in our school family at our Veteran’s Day Breakfast/ Assembly on Friday, November 10. We are proud and grateful to be Americans, and we praise God for blessing our nation! We pray for the men and women who serve our country and keep us safe!
God bless America! - Mrs. Begley
