Monday is our field trip to the fire station. We will leave school at 9:15 to be there by 9:30. It will take about an hour and then we will head back to school. We have several people walking with us.

Be looking for invitations for Grandparent’s Day. Please let your child deliver this special invitation to their grandparents or special friend. Grandparent’s Day is on Friday, September 12. The day will begin just after 8:00 am with Chapel in the gym. After Chapel we will go into the cafeteria for a snack then we will go back to our classroom for a few activities. We should be done around 10:00. Your child may leave with their grandparents at the end of the celebration. This is a half day of school. School is out at 11:30. PLEASE let me know if the grandparents will be taking your child with them on this day. Also, let me know how many will be coming to our celebration.

We are baking pies on Friday, September 26 beginning at 8:00 AM. I have plenty of volunteers, but if you didn’t sign up and you would like to join in on the fun we would love to have you.

Jesus Time: Our sin makes God sad. God shows us His mercy through His Son Jesus who forgives us our sins and gives us eternal life. This week we will learn about Noah and how God showed him mercy. Bible Words: Remember me, O Lord. Psalm 106:4

Center/Table Time: What a busy week we will have. We will add our first letter which is Mm. Our number is 3, our color is green, and our shape is a triangle. Please wear GREEN on Wednesday.
