Prek 3 News

May 8 & 10

Last Friday was an exciting morning- we rode a bus and went to see the FFA animals GSL. So many to pet, so many to see. It was a fun half hour. Thank goodness it was a clear and warm day so we could be there and enjoy the sights.

Wednesday this week we will have our annual Fine Arts Fair. The prek sings at the beginning of the program- 6:30. I hope everyone can come and sing for everyone. All the children will sit with parents and will be called up to sing. If you need to leave after singing, you are free to do so. There will also be some art work to view on the tables.

The countdown to the end of the school is upon us. Not many days of class left. Our last class day is Wednesday, May 22. Thursday the 23rd is our picnic at Oak Leaf Park to end the year together. I hope most of the children can be there that morning too. We meet from 8:30-10:30. We will play, feed the animals at the Sanctuary and have a big snack. After 10:30, everyone is free to go and the school for prek has ended- no afternoon class that day. If it is a rainy day- the picnic is cancelled. I will notify everyone if it is a sketchy weather prediction.

Learning Goals- practice what we have learned so far, meet some new challenges as we we prepare for next year and seasonal activity

May 1 & 3

New month and many activities happening. We will be on the countdown to the end of class but in the meantime, we will be busy and days will go by fast.

Friday, May 3, we will be riding a bus to GSL to see the FFA animals at 10:30 that day. Parents are welcome to come along with us. Also tell your daycares as this is a free event open to the public. They will be along the road by the red barn you see near the school. If rainy, they may be in the garage by the back of the school. This is always a fun event that the children get to see, pet and maybe hold animals.

Wednesday, May 8 is our annual Fine Arts Fair. The prek group will be singing 2 songs and open the program at 6:30. I need everyone there so mark your calendars and plan on coming. There will be art work to view also. All children will sit with parents and will be called up front to sing.
