Monday: Reviewing Test 16 and starting objectives on my composite test 17 Tuesday: Taking a 6 problem test 16 and Power 16. Still working on Composite Test 17 in class. Wednesday: Working on a 11 problem Real Test 17 objectives. Thursday: Continuing on Real Test 17 and a practice Test 18 Objectives. Friday: Either finishing practice 18 or starting real Test 18. Monday: We start the week with Lesson 96 in which the students will be able to use the Distributive Property with Algebraic Terms. Tuesday: In Lesson 97 the students will be able to identify the corresponding angles and sides of similar triangles. Also, they will be able to find missing sides on similar triangles by using proportions. Wednesday: Today in Lesson 98 the students will be able to use scale measurements. Thursday: Today the students will be able to use the Pythagorean Theorem in Lesson 99. Friday: We finish the week with the students in Lesson 100 by estimating square roots and identifying irrational numbers. Monday: We start the week with the students working on a Practice Test 15B and a Power Up P which has test-like facts on it. Tuesday: Today the students will be taking our Cumulative Test 15 and Power Up Test 15. Wednesday: Today our 8th graders will be taking our Star Math Test. Thursday: In Lesson 81 the students will be working with central angles and arcs of a circle. Also, in Lesson 82 the students will be able to write linear equations in standard form solve for each intercept. They will also be able to graph linear equations by using their intercepts. They finish the day by solving system of two linear equations by graphing. At the end of class a "Final's" packet will be handed out. Friday: We finish the week with Lesson 83 in which the students will be able to calculate probability of dependent events. Also, our Algebra Topic in Lesson A83 will have the students solve proportions with unknowns in two terms. Monday: We start the week with Lesson 94 in which the students will be able to find the probability of dependent events occurring in a specified order. Tuesday: Today in Lesson 95 the students will be able to find the volume of several right solids. Wednesday: Today the students will be working on a Practice Test 18B and a Power Up R which has test-like facts on it. Thursday: Today our 7th graders will be taking our Star Math Test. At the end of class a "Final's" packet will be handed out. Friday: We finish the week with the students taking our Cumulative Test 18 and Power Up Test 18. | |||
