It is almost time to begin the 2020-2021 school year! The teachers are busy preparing their classrooms and getting everything ready for your return. I am looking so forward to seeing you all soon! Until then, stay healthy!

The teachers have been meeting with Mrs. Swazey, and there are three things you need to know at this time.
First of all, the supply drop will still take place during certain hours on August 20th, but you will need to sign-up for a specific time via Sign-Up Genius. Time slots will be sent to you by the end of the week.
Secondly, there will not be a "normal" Back to School event on August 25th as originally scheduled. Rather, each teacher will be holding a virtual Back to School event during the week of August 24th. More information will be coming home regarding how this will look.
Finally, at this time students will not be changing for P.E. so no uniform is currently needed.

AT THIS TIME, STUDENTS WILL NOT NEED A P.E. UNIFORM AS WE WILL NOT BE CHANGING FOR CLASS. This is my supply list which you should have received from the school office in a recent mailing.

1 "PHOTO BOX" You can get these at Michael's or Hobby Lobby for $2-$4. ALL school supplies will go into this (We will not use a pencil pouch in your desk.). I will have some available for $3 if you cannot find one.

1 PACK OF COLORED PENCILS *or* MARKERS- Please only bring one, your preference, to school.

1 SCISSORS

6 SHARPENED PENCILS *or* 3 MECHANICAL PENCILS AND LEAD

2 YELLOW HIGHLIGHTERS

1 ERASER

1 RULER WITH INCHES AND CENTIMETERS

1 RED NOTEBOOK

2 BLUE NOTEBOOKS- *5th Grade ONLY*- Leave one of the notebooks home until we need it.

1 FOLDER WITH 2 POCKETS

1 BOX OF TISSUES

1 PAINT SHIRT- This will be kept in your locker.

1 STUDY SCREEN- about 18"x 18"x 18"

ESV SONGBOOK- School provided this for you your first year at St. Michael.

*PLEASE leave all other items home. I know that stores have a lot of fun things this time of year. If you have anything that is not on the list, keep them at home! We are keeping it very simple.

The answers are posted in the Number Ninja "Stream" each Sunday morning. If you haven't done the "mission" but plan to do so, don't look at the answers until you have finish.
